Default lowering the oil pan, i need some help

hey guys, im trying to lower the oil pan on my car so i can get to the pick up tube bolt on the pump, i tried following the write up on LS1howto, ok i loosened all the main bolts around the perimeter but they were all 10mm, ls1howto says there is some 8mm and some 10mm did i forget to loosen some 8mm? and also there is a plastic cover around the starter area and i think there is 1 bolt that bolts into the oil pan do i loosen that too? i think its the inspection plate but its the one on the passenger side around the starter i already got the one on the driver side, and also the 2 transmission bolts on the bell housing looks to me like there going through the oil pan?? im not sure, i would greatly appreciate it if somebody can give me some insight. thank you guys

there should be 2 13 mm bolts at the back of the oil pan as well, also there are 2 (hard to get to) on each side of the pan around the k member

Motor is an '01 Lq4. They are 8 mm diameter w/a 1.25 thread pitch, 10 mm head. I dont have any "13 mm" bolts in mine, but Ive got a TH400.......

ok guys i just removed the bell housing bolts and that sucka droped i also got the oil pump out but i barely managed to get the pick up tube bolt with a magnet, i guess i dident drop the pan low enough? i feel its gonna be like almost impossible to put it back in the way i got it out. im gonna try finding the bolt on the pan thats trying to cause trouble. or could it be that inspection plate on the pass side? but anyways im sure i could figure out the culprit in the morning if i look hard enough, im just letting you guys know. thanks again for all the replys. also do i use the black o ring supplied with the new pump or should i go get another blue one from the dealer? and im gonna try to install the pick up tube girdle to make sure i dont have problems later.

yea it makes sense now, especially with the girdle on there. would i damage anything letting the pan get that low while the pick up tube is bolted inside the oil pan?
