Default Any body have this cam...

Lunati 230/237 .544/.543. Don't know the LSA, but I imagine it would be kinda high with that kind of duration. What kind of charactoristics does it have? I did a google on it and only got 1 hit of useless info.

Thanks

I would expect more of a low LSA with that kind of duration. If it had a large LSA, it would peak at such a high rpm you couldn't use it.

I really like the specs on this cam. Should be easy on springs with that lift, and wind into the rpms like hell with that duration. Sounds like a winner, but you might want to check into it's ramp rates. If it doesn't have fast ramps, it may lope pretty hard.

I just installed the Lunati 230/237 in my car. I also used Comp 918 springs, Thunder Racing P-Rods, and Titanium Retainers and tuned the car with the help of auto-tap and LS1 Edit. The weather is bad here and no chance to get the car to the track for months but I am really inpressed so far. The car thumps at an idle and screams on the top end. It pulls really hard. My car ran a best of 12.56 before the cam swap, I am certain with a 60 foot in the 1.9 range that I will get the car in the 11's. I'm very happy with the cam

You can find the full specs here: http://www.lunaticams.com/Camshafts/ChevyLS1.html
RPM range is only up to 6000. Sounds like a great cam for spring longevity. Fairly low rpm shift points for engine longevity too. That 108 LSA helps get that torque down in the lower rpm range.

What a 1.9 60ft. What tire are you running. I Know you are an M6 and all but damn man if you are cutting a 1.9 60ft that thing had an 11 in it if you could get yourself a 12 bolt, sticky tires and a mucloud(sp) clutch and launch that that thing at 4000 rpms.

How can all those cams have the same peak? They have the same LCA/ICL and different durations.

I am running Nitto DR. My 12.56 was on a 2.0 60 foot. My home track is terrible, nobody has any success off the line. Yes I would love to have a 12 bolt, good clutch, and slicks, but we all can't have everything that we want. A clutch will probably have to come soon though. I launch it around 3500-4000 as is.
