Default Questions about going to 6.0

I currently have a '98 LS1 in my car. It's got the vic jr, carb'd, MSD6010.

I have the chance to get an '05 6.0l truck engine. Will all my LS1 parts fit on this longblock... to include the carb intake, msd ignition, headers, etc? Looking to just change out the longblocks as I've got an internal problem with the current engine.

You dont have to change the physical computer, but you do have to go into the programing and tell the computer that its new size (6.0 liter vs 5.7) and some other things.
You may also have to tap the driver side of the block for one of the powersteering bracket bolts. it takes 3 and without it you will only have 2. Some dont even tap it, but I would.... if you have the ability to do it then I would tap it.

other than tapping that bolt everything else fits up just like it is an ls1. it's as easy as putting another ls1 in your car. the easiest motor swap you will ever do. through it in, get it tuned, and you are done!
