Default Arp Rod Bolts

I have a 2000 c5 and I understand that the stock rod bolts are a weak link ?
I have been talking around and with ARP and they say to re-size the big ends.
If we get into all that might as well change rods and pistons that means Honeing which means the motor must come out ? Now,we have rebuilt the whole engine.
Does this all sound right.

LS1 cracked rods cannot be resized in the traditional manner. The big end can be honed to correct defects and thicker bearings used.
From the machinists I have talked to I have come to believe that cap screw rods do not need to be resized after replacing the bolts.

Well! In reading all the posts ,Thats what i thought also
I talked to ARP last night and they said they would re-size the rods .
Well if this is necessary it makes to buy a forged set up and do it all?
i would like to strengthen the bottom some while doing the top but I guess I will just wear it out as is.
Thanks for the reply.

I have not seen a problem just taking down the oil pan and replacing the rod bolts. I stock the rod bolts for this reason, most people don`t want to rebuild the entire motor.
