Default Durability of a stroked 346 to 383

Any info on the Durability of a stroked 346 to a 383cu.? I know the ls1 has thin cylinder liners and was wondering if any of you 383 guys have had any problems. I know that extra stroke can't be any easier. If you don't have a 383 please don't post. I need 383 veterans only please!

My 383 was built in the summer of 07,and to date I have not experienced any durability (reliability) issues. Prior to purchasing my stroker kit from Eagle I had a discussion with one of their technical representatives. He advised me not to go any larger than a 4.00 stroke (crank) based on possible reliability issues down the the road with the larger crank (4.125).

What did they say would be an issue? Sorry just curious, because im looking into a 4.125 on a 6.0...

I can't honestly recall what he actually said, but I think it was related to the angle of the rods coming off of the larger crank. Give Eagle a call and see what they say about the two cranks (4.00 vs 4.125) in a LS1/LS6 block.

I'm considering "freshening" up my 150,000 mi LS1 with a new rotating assembly and a hone/bore as needed. 383 is the most obvious option. I'm trying to figure out if I'll need to swap out my 228/232 112+4 .590 cam to work best with a stroker or if its a decent match. Any opinions? I already have PRC Stg 2 243's.
