Default No oil to the top of the Engine?

I started my car today and there was a squeal coming from the engine. I worked my way down till I knew it was coming from under the valve covers and sure enough took them off and started the car and there was no oil coming to the top of the engine. My oil pressure reads 60 PSI from a cold start so I am assuming that the bottom end is getting oiling but just not the top. I can't seem to find a diagram of how the oil runs in this car anywhere on-line to help me figure out what to do next. I check the oil and oil filter it was pretty clean few little shavings nothing abnormal. So I am guessing its not blocked up but not ruling that out. So really what I am asking is where to find a diagram of how the oil runs in the LS1 and has any one else had a problem like this?

If the cam bearings were wore bad your oil pressure would be crap. And if the oil filter was plugged it would still have oil pressure because it has a bypass. There really isn't any reason that it wouldn't have oil at the top. If the lifters aren't "rattling" then it does have oil pressure to the "top."
