Default TBSS LS2 cam in my LS1

I've been searching but haven't found a definitive answer.

Will a stock cam out of a TBSS(not sure on year) work with the LS1 cam sensor?

I'm going from a magic stick 3 back to a stock cam(and adding boost), and can get a TBSS cam for a good price. But I have no clue if they have the reluctor in the back. I don't want to buy a new timing cover and extension harness just to use this cam.

Won't work. I just asked this question recently. Gen IV LS2's have the reluctor in the front, so it won't work with a Gen III LS1.

Well, it WILL work technically. But yeah, you'll need the timing cover, and to extend the harness, but it sounds like you already know this.

I was just hoping there was an off chance GM left the reluctor in the back on the LS2 cams just for ***** and giggles...

I'm not going through that trouble when I can buy an LS6 cam which has similar specs.
