Default LS2 Timing Set. Please any pics

I am doing a cam swap in my 00 WS6 and I got some advice to go ahead and upgrade my oil pump to an LS6, and also put an LS2 timing set on it. Well I ordered all my parts from a local performance shop and he advised to go with an in motion bulletproof set up. Thats what he called it anyway. Well apparently it was backordered or some crap and so he went ahead and got the ls2 set. Well he said that the cam gear has a half moon on the back, but my question is that on the web at texas speeds site it shows a difference in the chains, well with the ls2 chain there is a noticeable difference. With the timing chain that i got in the kit, I put it next to the stock one and there is no difference. I just wanna make sure that I didn't get hosed on the deal because I paid $100 for this thing. I can send a pic thru email but I do not know how to post pics on here.. Any help would be great thanks

the LS2 chain outer links (the flat plates) are about twice as thick as the stock LS1 chains. REALLY easy to tell the difference.

The half moon shaped gear is bc the LS2 runs the cam sensor up front.

Yah, as noted above, if the chain outer links aren't noticeably thicker then it's not an LS2 chain.
