Has anyone tried adding VVT to a GEN III? what would be needed to do it? thanks

that's a good question...i don't see why not...i guess you'll just need a vvt specific cam... but we'll both wait for the guru's word on the issue.... G.Luck with this...

you'd need a way to change the cam on the fly, wouldn't you? Or shift it somehow?

At GM.com if you look in the marine section, they made a 6.0 L with variable valve timeing, I am not quite certain how it works.

new cam, and i guess you need some solinoids to activate it. not sure how it works on a OHV motor
