Which LSA???
Hey guy's just been reading through some threads and noticed and a very popular cam for a stock head LS1 is 224/224 with either 112 or 114 LSA's. I'm looking at getting the same for mine but on 110 LSA.What difference will it make. I thought the reason you guy's use the 112 or 114 might be because of emmision's? Not a problem here in Aus thankfully.
Cheers!

No difference in power hugh. How many cars with 224 cams make 406 peak rwtq on stock heads and 380+ rwtq onstock heads from 3000 rpm up. Put that cam on a 110lsa, you will not be sorry. Being able to tune with ls1 edit does help with cams with more overlap (lower lsa) so be for warned.

Thanks for the reply's.
Bringing the peak power down lower in the rev range sound's good and getting a good tune won't be a problem.
Any other comment's?

Idle nightmares.Depending on your car use ie: What is the powerband needed for your application? That is one of the perimeters that determine lsa choice.
