Default Help on timing chain !!

I cant get the stupid stock pos off the crank shaft

Is it safe to pry a bit at it ?? It looks like its on ther elike a **** . What did you guys use

You won`t get it like that it is presssed on. You need a puller.

nates right, just use your pulley puller you used to remove the pulley. just be careful.

.....do not try to bang/pry/drive things on or off of a crank as you can bend/damage it (the crank)......

Thanks guys , Its all swapped over .

Is there any way to tell if the o ring on the oil pump is pinched prior to re assembly of the rest of the engine . I was VERY carefull when I bolted the pick up tube but alignment of the two was a real bitch . I have read so many horror stories with the o ring . . . any way I can tripple check before I button her all back up ??
