Default Powdered metal rods

Seems one of the first things done in a performance build is to replace rods in an LS1/LS6. Who here has broken a LS1/LS6 rod?, where did it break?, and at what rpm was the motor run at before the failure?

Thanks

ive built many ls engines and have used stock rods for most builds.
ive only built 2 [personal engines with hbeams and they were for forced induction prep.
for street cars stock rods are fine imo. currently i turn 7000rpm with arp rod bolts on stock rods. without any issues. as long as clearances are correct. i dont see any problem. many have used stock rods to over 800hp with forced induction.

From what ive seen stock rods are fine for most stock cube n/a combos most will upgrade when they use forced induction or nitrious.
