Cam selection need suggestions for LS6 91 RS
First I've read a lot of cam threads, done searches and try to keep up with cam stuff, I would still like feed back on a potential cam for my LS1 swap into my 91 RS.
The car is and will remain a 20,000 mile a year daily driver. The engine is easy to get too so valve springs swaps once a year aren't a big issue.
The heads will be TEA 2.5 LS6 w/SAM ports.
The intake flow numbers will be something similar to the following based on what TEA posted a little while back.
Lift Head / LS6 int
.100 69 66
.200 139 137
.300 201 198
.400 251 238
.500 288 265
.550 307 277
.600 320 285
.650 325 291
.675 port stall
Exhaust will be ~230ish w/o pipe and ~250-260ish with pipe.
LS6 intake, extrude honed manifolds, gutted cats, SLP Y pipe, cut out, SLP 20TL or SLP dual/dual, ported TB, MAF ends, ASP under drive, 3200 Yank, 3.73 gears.
Car will get LS1 edit and dyno tuning.
Long term I'll go with long tube heads but for a year or so I'll be stuck with a set ported 2000 cast iron manifolds. The primaries are over 1 3/4 with these extrude honed manifolds.
What cams do you suggested?
I want to keep the LSA 113-115 for driveability/idle etc other than that I'm open to suggestions thanks!

I sent you my thoughts on it all, but the F1 or MMT M2 cam are good choices with the ported stock manifolds. A reverse split here would be optimal. You can go with the G5x-2 which likes spray ....if you go that way. I personally like the N/A bit and love the F1 that I've got. Curious to see what its going to do in my 5.3
