Rodney, the TR236 fits on stock heads. If you are interested in this cam, let me know.

Bigger is not always better. I have a small custom 220/220 .581/.566 and I make great power. I recently dynoed thru a 12 bolt w/ 4.11 through full exhaust and stock SS wheels. I made 394 rwhp and 375 rwtq with no dyno tricks. I know of a lot of guys running a larger cam that don't make that kind of power thru stock 241 heads. I am pretty sure I would have made 405+ rwhp with a 10 bolt and 3.42. Remember, if you run a big cam you will lose some low end power and you will need deep gears. My car pulls through 6600 rpms and I sometimes fear the high reving. Just my opinion but I think a 224/222 .581/.581 on a 112 or 111 lsa would kick *** with stock heads. Use the XE-R lobes from Comp. They have more duration at .200 that the XE lobes.

Good Luck with what ever you chose.

i have plenty of gear, and will go even bigger next change, also im not looking to make in the 300's i dont drive it all day so if its nasty ill like it.
the tr230 with my setup will make around 410rwhp but if the tr236 or somthing similar will do better ill go with it. if i get 420 or better ill take it and run.

Rodney, no problem. Let me know when you need the cam installed.

The Comp 918s will be fine with that cam.
