Default Different years, Different 24x reluctor wheels?

I'm building a LS1 out of a '99 Firebird. The crank snout was slightly bent so I bought a used crank out of a '02 Camaro. Even though the reluctor wheels are both 24x, they look very different. On the '99 the plates are tight together and the notches are a lot thicker and spaced differently. Is this going to work with the '99 computer?

'02 on the left '99 on the right

Looking at the two and comparing the tooth pattern, they should give equivalent signals to the computer. I've only seen the one on the left but I do know I have interchanged 24X cranks from nearly all different years with no issues.
