Harmonic balancer puller?
I have been doing lots of searches on here last couple of days on a pully puller. I have heard some bad stories about the three arm puller either slipping off or breaking. So i found this one http://www.denlorstools.com/home/dt1...er_puller.html and I am currious if it is the better one to get or if it will even work.

pretty sure that will work. i used the regular 3 jaw and had no issues. just take your time and make sure to put a socket or something on the front of the crank so you don't damage the threads

Ya, I use a 3 arm puller from Harbor Freight, you dont have to worry about stripping anything if put it in threw the inside and be sure to get it on straight. if you use a socket to put between the puller and the crank make sure its not a cheap-o socket.. I broke a socket right in half this past week.

that is the correct puller for a ls1 i have the bluepoint version. but the three jaw puller works just the same. if you are going to use it more than once i would recommend buying it. otherwise just rent a three jaw and be done

Yeah the only problem is that I am over in Germany right now so renting one is out of the question. With that being said would you buy the one I linked to above or one of the ones you are talking about.

That puller would work great for you. I use one similar to it and you would never go back to the other cheap ones after you use that one. Mainly because you would own that one, but you know what I mean. It's nice. You don't have to worry about the threads on the crank with that tool.
