Default pushrod ?????

im puttin a cam in my vette, the specs are, 224/228 .535 .535 112. im going to use the 04 yellow springs. my ?? is, on pushrods, would i need to get some harden ones? i have some that came out of my 2001 Z28 w/ 50k on them that i was gona swap out considering my vette has little over 100k on it. i dont care to spend the $100 on pushrods if needed, but money saved is always nice. i figured this cam isnt much bigger then the 04 Z06 cam, and im useing stock springs, and they use stock type pushrods. as far as i know anyways?

spring info:

90 lbs. @ 1.8 in., 295 lbs @ 1.250 in., .570 in. Maximum Lift

Here's my two cents. Can the yellow springs and pick up some PAC 12915's which are slightly stiffer. The yellow springs have failed on cars more times then I can count. Do a search (google) and you will see the failures show up on several forums.

As for pushrods, I would go with new ones myself.

Definitely go with chromoly pushrods. With more aggressive ramp rates, it is always a good idea. Also, like vettenuts mentioned, that cam is going to be a pretty good workout on those springs. I would definitely recommend going to a better spring. PAC 1218 or Comp 918 would work well. We have all of them on the shelf.
