Just a quick odd question...
What head/cam package would you guys recommend for an aluminum block (either 5.7 or 6.0) to give peak torque between 3000 and 3500 rpm's?
I'm just trying to see how to get max torque at 3k or a little above. Was looking at a 206 or 210 XFI lobed cam. Opinions?

i'm not sure the ls1 makes torque that low...
i would think the 6L block with a mild cam should do it. maybe one of the sleeper cams?
but 3000-3500 is pretty low.
why are you looking for that?
i know my cam gives me a hair under 350ftlbs at 3500 and carries that (and up to 385ftlbs) all the way to 6000rpm.
there are alot of nice flat torque curve cams out there

Give us a call when you get some free time. I've dyno tested a few smaller camshafts that might help give you a idea where you can be at. I'd think about a set of PRC 215 heads if your looking to keep the torque up, we can get you a nice small chamber & the runners will be on the smaller size as well!
