I have a LS2 pn#55003 SLP timing gear set that I was wondering if I could use on my 5.3 build. The reason why I ask is SLP's website says that they are only for LS2's. This is the version that has the three cam bolts. I did mock it up... Everything fits. Just wondering if it has to with the counter weight that is on the cam gear. I'm looking to see if there is anyone that has used it in thier LS1 without any problems....
