I'm going to be picking an engine up this week. The place has 2 04 lq4 engines. One has a cracked intake. I was planning on swapping a ls6 intake anyway. I already know about the clearance issues with the truck brackets.

I can get the wireharness, computer, and gas pedal (DBW) but will I be able to use the truck DBW throttle body on the ls6 intake? I don't want to waste my money on the wrong harness and computer. I don't care if it is DBW or DBC just want to do get it right the first time.

I your going with the DBW why not put an LS2 intake on the engine.

They are not that far off on power and they have a DBW throttle body

Besides I think that the LS2 is less expensive than the LS6

Yes it works. You'll have to change to the EV6 style injectors and change fuel rails as well.

Thanks guys. My dad's friend has an LS6 intake that i'm hoping to get a good deal on. If not I may have to check out the ls2 intake.
