Visual differences between LS1 and LS2 timing chains?

The LS1 chain hasn't been manufactured in five years. If you have an LS3 chain it will not be the same as the old LS1 chain. Look at the link thicknesses, on the LS2 chain they are approximtately the same. I have a photo at home or it may turn up with a search as there were photo's floating around here around 2005 or so when it first came out.

My question stems from the fact the engine is a 2005 5.3 truck engine, and I'm very cautious with builds (try to make them as stout as possible).
This is the first engine I've not done forged internals on "just because" instead of just freshening the engine.

Here's the only image I could find comparing the LS1 and LS2 timing chain (sorry it's large!)

Not sure but I would guess its the same chain. The old LS1 chain had thinner outer links as I remember it and the later chain (likely the same in all the GEN III motors) had outer links about the same thickness as the inner links. I have a photo at home if you really need it.
