Default 2000 5.7 turbo build opinions.

I知 starting a turbo build on a ls1 out of a 2000 camaro. Me having never put any type of forced induction on aluminum block. I知 curious to see what kind of things I need to look out for and also some decent parts like cams, lifters, valve springs etc. that would get good power but also be somewhat safe for the numbers I知 wanting.

Which numbers are you wanting?
That will decide the advice you seek.

Welcome man! Search around, read up on some other other builds, definitely hang out in the forced induction forum, there's a good sticky in there called "the true costs" so you can get a good idea of how much this all costs generally.

Put in good PAC valve springs, COMP pushrods, and NGK sparkplugs. Fuel system components have too many brands to suggest. Pick the right ones, and your 600rwhp goal will be easy. A 78mm turbo will be more than enough. In the meantime, if you are m6, your clutch will burn out, and if you are A4, you will pop your 4l60. Have fun.
