Default ls6 intake vs headers

was wondering what would benefit me more, the ls6 intake or lt headers and off road y pipe?

i got a 99 trans am a4, with borla cb, free mods, and tuned by frost tune.

Def headers and y an ls6 intake will be for about 12hp up top headers and a y should yield close to 20hp maybe even 25-30 with a tune and a catback.

Well you'll likely see more gains from the headers and y-pipe but it will be more expensive than the intake because those intakes can usually be found for a reasonable price on these forums.

spend your money on the headers, and y pipe. then save up for a fast intake instead of an LS6 intake.

If you're not worried aboutprice then why not do both? You could get it all done for about $900 using TSP headers an ORY and a used LS6. That's about 35whp which is a pretty dang good bang for the buck.

Well, if price isn't an problem, then go further with quality headers, like American Racing Headers or Kooks and the new FAST 102 intake.

Headers (untuned) gave me 3 tenths in the quarter bogging on the launch (hooked to good), doubt a ls6 intake will do that, maybe after a cam.
