Default Unbelievable - Patriot Heads arrived!

I ordered them from Trevor last Monday.

They had to be milled and built. Terry, the scrooge, must've made someone work over Christmas!

Anyway, I'm no where near ready to install them. Still waiting on the LS6 PCV conversion parts.

Thanks Trevor and Terry!

Ah Mitch you must have gotten power hungry eh! Last I saw you were just going to clean up your old heads and throw them back on. Good luck with them man! Are you keeping the same cam you have now?

Did you get the 5.3's or the LS6 style?

Cam choice? Who knows ... I'm not going monster at all. I like my valve springs!

I have a '98, so I decided to stick with perimeter bolt pattern heads.

Good luck with the new heads. I've got a pair myself and I should have my car back tomorrow.

I'm glad to see that you already received your cylinder heads Mitch! I think you're going to have some fun. Keep me updated as to how she does at the dragstrip and on the road course.

Have a happy new year!

Dragstrip? Not on your life!
Too dangerous ... too much carnage!

Road Course? That's where it's at!

I read a quote on another site -
"Drag racing is for fast cars - Road racing is for fast drivers"

I just got a set of the LS6 heads in the mail last night. Thanks Patriot / TSP for the quick service also!

Car is being torn apart now for the install. Car dyno'd 385 rwhp / 376 rwtq last night with stock heads. Can't wait to see the results!

LOL Mitch! I knew you were into road racing, but I figured I'd slip in the drag racing just to see your reaction.

1fastWS6 - I'm glad to hear that you received your cylinder heads, too. Keep us posted on your results!

You just don't know how close I came to doing just that ...

I'm gonna wait and see what the heads do first. A cam change might be in order. However, I'm old and slow ...
