Default Spun Rod Bearings. Replace Rods?

Hi guys I spun two rod bearings. Some people are telling me I need to replace my rods, some are telling me I don't. The insides where the bearings go look fine and unscored. The guy at my machine shop told me if the rods got damaged the insides would change colors. Is he right? If I replace the rods, does that means I'll have to get the entire assembly rebalanced? Help me out guys, the advice given to me on here has been great so far

If they are not discolored from heat and check out good on a rod bore guage then your fine. I reused a rod that had a spun bearing on my LS2 all the above was good she runs good for me.
