Default Head bolt striped ?

ok so i striped one of the shallow head bolts in my block. which happened to be the last bolt i was tighting to finish up. so i know you have to drill out the hole one size larger to put a helicoil in, but what size helicoil do i need? advanced auto parts has a kit but im not sure if it is the right sizes that i will need....anyway how trusty are these helicoils on head bolts?

If it is one of the larger bolts, I would investigate further. There was a recent thread where someone did the same thing and the suggested correction was using a "Timesert" which will give you a much stronger fix. Check it out at timesert.com

Blind hole: bottom tap. Open hole: taper tap. This is a blind hole.
