Question head's questions

hey i have the 853 heads on my ls1 what is the diff. from the 241 heads i have been told the 241 are the better head an they make like 20 hp then the 853. Why is that? diff. valves are just better air flow an runners.

an what is a good price on a set of 241 heads if i wanted to go buy some used.

ill be runnin a trex cam an a fast 92mm intake an a Nick Williams 92mm tb with new push rods stock lenght an Patriot Performance Dual "Gold Extreme" Valve Spring Kit - with 660 lift. what hp an tq would i see from my stock heads (853) an then from the 241 heads if anyone would know this it would be nice to know some numbers.

241'S arent any better than 853's pretty much the same...243's are a good head u can get better gains [around 20 hp]

853's stock don't flow as well as 241s but miniscule. When both are ported properly,they're damned near identical. Also there's a casting process difference in them (can't explain that part).
