Default Coolant temps after cam swap

Coolant temps are hitting 220+ after cam swap. Noticed that my fans aren't coming on. Everything is plugged in and the fuses are good. Any ideas? 2004 ls6 in a cts-v.

There should be no issue unless some one messed with the fan on and off temps. Talk to who ever did your tune and see whats up.

Havent got a tune yet. This was all noticed after first startup and start up after oil change. I just fired her up about 3 hours ago. Tuning will be done tomorrow in dallas. It is on a trailer ready to go. I just couldnt do anything to get the fans to turn on. Usually one will turn on when the AC is on.... but... nothing.

Sometimes if you get an air pocket in the cooling system the motor will run hot. As the motor warms up tyr an squeeze radiator hose to help "burp" the air out of the system. Did you make sure there was enough coolant in the system after the thermostat opens up. Maybe faulty thermostat. Also I think the fans come on around 230 with factory settings.
