guy i have a '05 silverado with a 5.3.

found out i have a cracked head.now im looking at aftermarket heads.called summit and was told about a gm performance ls2 head complete for under $500. each(assembled)

2.00in/1.55ex valves

since im swapping heads why not a cam and intake?

what parts will work good on a 5.3 in a truck? (heads,cam,intake)

its a 2wd crewcab so i want to keep my torque level up but more hp would be a blessing.

this is the first time i've had to open up a ls motor.
