Default Do different hoods affect the ram air on the WS6?

I was wondering if you put a different hood (such as a firehawk hood) on a WS6 will it affect the ram air capability? I am Pretty much asking if the ram air box needs the ram air hood to to its job.

I dont think its going to matter unless you put a regular trans am hood on it. But you also have to keep in mind there isnt really much ram air effect. Your ramming air right to to the filter. Its not building much actual positive preasure past the filter. It is giving you cold air from outside the engine compartment though. That is more gains than you are seeing from the ram air effect.

With tweaking to the box and seal, you can attain pressure, albeit minuscule, but it is possible.
