Default Any gains with Micropolished Cams???

Im still Cam shopping around. But i see some shops offer Micropolishing
http://www.performancemetal.net/

Whats gains could be obtained with this?

Would it be worth getting a Cam then sending it to get polished?

You would have less drag on the crankshaft from the timing gear, as well as the lifters. How much less, who knows? Maybe they could do a smoothness test before and after treatment. I would doubt the gains would be more noticeable than the %error from a dyno run, or time slip.

If you were a doing it on a pro stock car I could see the benefit, but for our cars, waste of money.

These are roller cams. I can't see any benefit to it.
