So my SS has had a slight tick since i got it at 87k miles. And now with 99k on it, it seems as if the tick is getting worse. Ive used a stethoscope on it probably 7 or 8 times now and all I can ever hear is the injectors clacking. Ive been told this is normal on LS1's but ive never heard another LS1 that clacks as loud as mine and my dads 02 c5 doesnt clack at all. Anyone had any experience with this? The noise is definately rpm related and seems to be occuring in even intervals. When everyone told me it was a normal noise I started to ignore it, but now I find it really hard to ignore.

It could be anything probably need a sound clip before anyone could determine for you.Exhaust leak failing lifter bearings idlers any of these are known to click or persay knock.Most ls1 have a slight tick but other than that nothing that couldnt be ignored.
