Default What is the torque setting for ARP main studs.

I need the specs for the ARP main studs. I lost my instructions and I tried searching but could not find it.

sorry i dont have a scanner to upload the whole page but i have the instructions from mine.

says to screw the studs into the block hand tight only. also lubricate stud threads and nuts with ARP ULTRA-TORQUE FASTNER ASSEMBLY LUBRICANT. Than instal nuts onto studs and tighten them hand tight. than torque them down, and the torque recommendations for the nuts are as follow:

Inner studs- 4.770 long 60FT LBS

Outer studs- 4.550 long 50FT LBS

M8 side bolts- 20FT LBS(use rtv sealent under the head of bolt)

Windage Tray nuts- 28FT LBS
