Full of questions at the moment an this is one more. If an engine has been run in on an engine dyno and then later found to have problems requiring a teardown for inspection, Is it possible to reuse the same rings or should a new set be purchased and fitted? The block has new Darton MID sleeves.
The motor would have only been run in on the dyno and not done any road miles. I expect a skim of the bores will be done prior to reassembly, so would the rings still get a seal after this has been done?
