The heads would bolt on the motor but I doubt they would pick up any power. You will be giving up compression that will more than likely offset the increase in flow from the 317 castings.

what do i need to mill them to to keep the stock compression?

Remember .007 of milling = 1CC so if you are at 72CC and the 243 heads are 64CC chambers to get 10.5 compression you do the math.

317 are the best heads for FI or if your going with a larger cube engine and that's it for the LS1/LS6 not so good for N/A application.
