W/out running the risk of being any one's pimp, I will say that I've been VERY pleased w/TEA's work....my best advice is to call any one(or better yet several)of our fine sponsors, and explain what you have, and what you want your car to do. Listen, learn, and make an informed decision.

Knowing what the other specs on your cam are importent also. Ramp rates, ICL, ABDC #'s will help the porter of your choice build a head that takes full advantage of the cam. Back in the "olden" days, we would take a set of worked heads, and match the cam to them....not the other way around.

High flow #'s are all the rage, and while it's absolutely true that the more air in/out at optimum velocity's is grounds for more power, if the cam can't utilize the port design, you're no better off. Sometimes bigger is not better, and sometimes paying more yeilds less....

Good luck-

it would also help if you listed the rest of your mods and goals for your car.

I have a yank st3500, asp pulley, flp's, borla, lca's, lca relo's. I will not spin the motor past 6200 RPM. I want to focus on peak torque #'s. I want the car to run the #'s at the track, I don't care what it does on a dyno.

why is it you dont want to spin passed 6200 , i would think with a cam that size peak would be at about 6400rpm or so and tq at 4500rpm. and what kinda numbers are you shooting for low 12's, 11's, 10's?

The car had a hotcam in it and went 11.97@113. I would be happy with 11.7's. I have a torque arm to install also. The torque and hp #'s have been moved down (in the rpm range) in the redesign of this camshaft.

GTP or absolutes, forgett the others that are so often low on power, although tea's do seem to be getting a bit more respectable

MTI's Stage IIE cylinder heads flow well over 300 cfm on the intake and are $1595. exchange. They come with extremely reliable custom double springs, titanium retainers, spring locators & Ferrea stainless valves. They come fully race hand ported and include flow sheets from .100" to .650" lift. If you want to see more info. about these heads, click on this link or e-mail me personally and I'll be happy to answer any questions for you.
