Default !!!!!!wont idle under 3000 rpm!!!!!!

i just installed a new LS6 intake and throttle body on my 99. i have already deleted EGR long before cause i have race headers. i used the MAP sensor that came on my car and the injectors as well for now cause the ones on the LS6 intake are bigger. i swapped all the sensors back to my LS1 sensors but it didn't seem to fix the problem. does anyone have a clue what would cause this, my brother said a broken knock sensor would cause this. any in site is much appreciated

check your throttle and see if it will shut down while idleing at 3K...rotate backwards...

IF so, blip it and see if it does it again...if so, check your cruise control module near the battery...

it was both the throttle and the cruise control. the new throttle body that i got had a bigger and longer wire guide (where the throttle cable rides on the throttle body) and hence was stuck open, switched back to stock and everything is A ok!

a knock sensor wouldnt make your engine idle high, it adjust timing according to it's readings, not air, i believe.
