Default New Motor??

i just got a new motor with zero miles on it and was wondering... if i wanted to sell my car later on for some reason... how would i prove that i installed it with X number of miles on it or would the just have to trust me??? thanks

maybe some type or proof of receipt showing it is new??? not really sure

take a pic of the odometer at the motor hanging on the hoist in front of the car through the windshield, i dunno.

have some friends sign a statement that they witnessed the mileage at a certain point when the new motor went in.

keep all reciepts for parts for date purposes.

once again i dunno

Couldnt you get it certified by a reputable technician (or anyone who's statement can be taken for fact - maybe a dealer rep?) and have it notarized by a Notary Public?

I could have about 4 or 5 people right statements because they all saw the mileage when the motor was dropped in.....

I also saved the receipt with prices and date and bla bla bla.....
