Default Terrible ticking please help...

I am pretty sure I blew the passenger side valve cover gasket probably because my PCV hose on that side came off due to a worn hose. I found oil all over that side of the firewall so it was a significant leak. I noticed my oil pressure would not get above 25-30 psi so I parked it. Upon next crank up after fixing the gasket I have a terrible ticking sound that sounds very similar to a bad lifter. I pulled the head and replaced all 8 lifters on that side and still have the ticking. It definitely sounds like it is coming from the top end of the motor. What else could go wrong in the top end with low oil pressure? I am thinking it might be a spun cam bearing? I am going to pull the driver side head this weekend, but I do not see how a lifter could go before any of the bearings due to low oil pressure. Also is it possible to see a spun cam bearing after the head has been pulled?

TIA

Default

did you check the pushrods and springs while you had the cover off?
