6.0 head bolt length? I just bought a 6.0 shortblock from a 2005 Chevy truck. How do I tell if I need head bolts all the same length or the 2 different sizes? Is it as easy as sticking something down the hole?

The is 1st and 2nd design. Your 2005 has the 2nd design.
