I don't want to get after anyone on here, so I will just keep my comments to myself on the matter.

You know it really doesnt matter cause its not like you live close enough to me so i could show you what my old setup could do..CAuse talk is cheap..God day to you

Paint it black,

I have seen you post more here in the past few weeks. I don't know who you are or what you have built. I am sure you have built more **** than me, I just yanked the engine/trans out of my Firehawk tonight.

If you know your stuff than that's good. Just be cool with people or you will get labeled, then it doesn't matter how much you know.

I had EPS spec me a cam this afternoon, I would be interested in seeing what you would do different.

Long live the internet.

Probably not much, Geoff and I and several others have a similar philosophy on cam specs. It's the minority to think this way but it's growing.

mostly I do searches (there was great info here before about 2007), and I browse the classifieds. My car (before this year) was a cruiser, stock rear, ported heads, mild cam.. never saw the track. I'm still not an expert but I know a few things. I'll have track numbers of my car in the fall. I'll keep you posted since you are so curious.

Your car is/was an impressive cam only car.. even though I didn't like that cam, it worked for you.

Did you run that 10.63 on a street tire?

Since money is tight, check out their prc 6.0 or ls6 2.5 heads. It will get you the performance you are looking for and to help with money you can reuse your old ls6 intake. If you had a bigger budget I would of recommended going with their l92 heads and a ported l76 or ls3 intake to make a lil more power.

If he went that route then he would have to spend more money on buying the offset rockers, offset lifters then get an l76 or ls3 intake with the fuel rail. It would be cheaper for him to get get a set of worked gm casting cathedral port heads so he can reuse what he has.

He could sell it LS6 intake for $300, sell his 243s for $400. You can buy complete L92 heads, rockers with intake and injectors for $950 shipped all day on here. My buddy just bought the same package with LS3 heads. After he sold his intake / tb / injectors / heads he hardly spent any money for a huge upgrade. It's the best budget route. You'd spend over $1000 to have someone decent port your heads.

You might want to call TSP back and tell them that you are considering their heads that way they can actually ship you a longblock and get your piston and head cc together to compression that will meet your goals.

i didnt want to do a long block bc i wast going with a tsp cam and i was reusing some stuff that i already have on my car like the ported oil pump, c5r timing chain, etc. i needed the motor fast and they had this one on the shelf. it came with -10cc dish pistons. he said with stock 243s it would be 11.1-1 with a cosemtic gasket. im trying to get some ported 243s tho. my compression goal was 11.25-1. but 11-1 is close enough for me.
