Default ATI Crank Pinning Kit question

What is the difference between these two kits?

Part number 918993 and 918993-1

Summit sells the 918993 for $117.60 and the 918993-1 for $123.31.

I'm looking to pin my crank and I found a guy that has the 918993-1 and was wondering if this will do the same job as the 918993 kit.

Not sure which kit I have. I would just call ATI in Baltimore and ask their tech support folks.

I called Tech support and they said the 918993-1 is for pinning with a timing mark so the fixture is longer and you have to pull the crank gear because the fixture goes in further to get it's index.

Good information. I have the other kit then. I eyeballed the timing to get Zero degrees at 12 o'clock so its good enough for installing rockers, valve springs, etc.
