Default Boiling Sound Coming from Under the Hood

I just noticed a weird noise coming from under my hood. The best way I can describe it is a boiling sound. My first thought was coolant, I grabbed the collant filler tube and I could feel it shaking. I checked the levels and there is plenty in there, im not sure when the last time it was changed was, but there are only 31k miles on the car. Any ideas on what the problem might be?
Thanks guys.

This is after driving? It's your radiator cap telling your coolant reservoir it's time to accept some coolant... translation, your engine is hot... Don't sweat it. The fluids get back into your engine when it wants them.
