Default do the pushrods have to be perfectly straight

ok i my car is making a little tapping noise when i hit 2000 rpm and increases with rpm just slightly. i pulled the pushrods out and rolled them on a glass table and they wobble a bit not completely bent but they do not roll perfect do they need replacing.

lol Pushrods are suppose to be dead even straight, if they are bent slightly it will cause this.

Yes, get new ones. They are pretty cheap and sounds like you have done the labor.

I usually like my pushrods to be at about a 75 degree angle... I think a few vendors might even carry the new pre-bent type R ones...

Soul. . . you mean 15 off of straight or just off of the 90 "L". The just off of 90 "L"s are custom right?

they only need to be straight if you want your motor to hold together. I say put them back in and make a 0-150 run on video
