Default 6.0 or 5.7, Which exhaust valve is better? 6.0=tulip shaped surface 5.7= flat surface

The 5.7 & 6.0 have different looking exhaust valves ??
The 5.7 exhaust valve has a flat surface...
The 6.0 exhaust valve has a tulip, 'dished' , surface...
Is one better than the other ??

I was just thinking of using the 5.7 exhaust valves in 6.0 heads, to raise the CR a little...
It appears that the tulip shape is making the chamber a couple of CC's bigger..
I may be wrong ??

Thanks,
Dave

THe 6L head castings are almost identical to the LS6 heads, they just have a bigger combustion chaimber. The 6L design has better flow characteristics.

Huh... You got up to early too....

I know 6.0 = LS6 ports with bigger chamber...

My question was about the different exhaust valve faces...

What year are your 5.7 valves out of? 2k thru 2002 LS1 flow best that i have tested. Compression increase wouldnt be worth using flat valves since they flow appreciably less than tulip style.
