Default Do LS series main caps get out of shape like Gen1 SBC caps

..when adding main studs requiring an align hone? if so, ill just go with stock studs/bolts. thanks.

yes you need to align hone the block. it is different torque specs.

alright, because i was reading on here somewhere an engine builder was pointing out the sbc caps deform more and need a line hone or something or other. thanks.

My machine shop was wondering the same thing, and yes they do deform when you use studs, If you want to run main studs you will need a line hone.
