I'd use the GM MLS gaskets. They are about 30 bucks each. You dont need a special gasket for a 3.905 bore ls1. The gasket doesnt hang in the bore. And if you are really concerned you could sand off the few thousands that u think might hang. GM parts direct or GM parts house have them. Although i think some of the sponsors have them also.

Plenty of guys around here use the GM MLS gaskets on stock cube (3.905 too) motors with great success. I'm not gonna go with my Felpro MLS this time around on my rebuild when I can get the GM's for less than half the price. LOL

Best price I've found for the GM MLS: http://sdparts.com/details/gm-perfor...parts/12498544

and Cometics: http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=602&catid=36

We stock both the GM MLS and Cometic gaskets at competitive prices...either will work great, but the Cometics allow you to tighten up your quench (wards off detonation) and gives you a slight bump in compression!
