Do it like a normal hyd. lifter motor. Pick a cylinder. Watch the valve movement/motion. When the exhaust valve on the cylinder you picked to starts or begins to open, stop rotating motor, and adjust your intake valve on that cylinder. (make sure there is no up/down or movement/slack in the pushrod anymore) you can easily feel when you get to 0 lash, when you start turning the polylock(clockwise) and it gets tight all the sudden(that's 0 lash), now, mark the polylock at the 12o'clock postion with a paint mark and turn it 1.5 full turns, stop and hold it there and set your set screw! Now,after the intake valve is set, continue rotating the motor(clockwise) and when that intake valve(u just adjusted) opens and starts to close, stop rotating when the intake valve reaches max opening, all the way thru and when it is 3/4s of the way closed, that's when you stop and repeat same tighting method to the exhaust rocker!
