Default Camshaft sensor to front, hole left over?

For those of you that have swapped to a front mounted cam sensor, what have you done with the hole left behind where the original went?

I have an iron block that is using an LS9 cam, and I'm thus moving the sensor to the front.

Thanks.

just leave the origional sensor there or knock a freeze plug into it.

Thanks. I don't have an original sensor. Will a freeze plug fit?
