^ Those are some nice numbers for a mustang dyno!

As long as you get the correct supporting mods the torquer v.2 will perform. Long tube headers, aftermarket lid, at least an LS6 intake, and good free flowing exhaust. An underdrive pulley would also help.

First I'm changing tuners. Then if my performance and numbers are still in the same situation, I'm changing cams. I couldn't tell you which one it will be yet, but I have a feeling it will be the cam (changing from the Tv2 i mean).

^seabrook eh?

the tv2 is a good cam. and it can be DD'd. however you will see a drop in mileage. i am a fan of the 224r and the 228r. either one is great for driving every day. or you may consider something like a 228/230 custom cam.

and if i were you i'de plan on doing heads sometime in the future. i was very happy with the gains i got from just stock 799 heads. i can't wait to p&p them and go to a slightly larger cam.

I have a Torquer V2 and TSP PRC Stage 2.5 5.3 heads and it made 420/390 through a stalled A4. Supporting mods are mac mids and ls6 intake and a lid

Yeah been in seabrook for 12 years now.

Iv looked at about a thousand camaros and firebirds b4 i bought my z28. And all the ones i looked at with cams seemed slower and just didnt run right to me. Iv had old chevelles, trans ams, and vettes cammed and idk if its just that the ls1s are touchy or something. thats why i went for a all stock clean one.

any advice(especially the guys from tsp) if i go with the cam and heads plus bolt ons, is there any other stuff i should get to support it all that i should look into getting. I know i need to tune it, but any advice in not letting my car end up slower than when i started.

the break down.

cam will require:
a good timing set. i have a ls2 single roller.
push rods. comp magnums will do.
valve springs and retainers. i like my patriot duals.
i went ahead and did a melling oil pump while i was in there.

good supporting mods:
LT's and exhaust are a must.
poly or solid motor mounts. I SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS FML!!!
lid/filter.
at least an ls6 intake. if you can find one a FAST 92/92 always helps.
if you plan on making more than 400 rwhp i would do at least 30 lb injectors.
obviously you will need a dyno tune.
a good clutch to hold the new power.
tires are always to be considered.
and as i am finding out a body mount torque is a great mod for 400+ rwhp. i need one bad

if i missed anything chime in.
